About me
I have a broad experience of life. I am a musician and film maker and I have worked as a teacher, trainer and website user experience consultant. I’ve always been a good listener and found myself naturally drawn to counselling. I passionately believe in the healing powers of creativity.
In 2007 I completed a three-year Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling at The Psychosynthesis & Education Trust in London. As a counsellor in training, I had been seeing clients for two years before qualifying.
I am a Cruse trained bereavement counsellor and have practiced as a counsellor at Cruse Bereavement Care since 2004. I have also trained to be a group therapy facilitator at Cruse.
I am a committee member of CAPPP - a networking organisation for counsellors and psychotherapists in private practice in the south west.
As a Member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force.
