About me

I have a broad experience of life. I am a musician and film maker and I have worked as a teacher, trainer and website user experience consultant. I’ve always been a good listener and found myself naturally drawn to counselling. I passionately believe in the healing powers of creativity.

I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling (2007) from The Psychosynthesis & Education Trust in London and have been seeing clients since 2004.

I am a Cruse trained bereavement counsellor and practiced as a counsellor at Cruse Bereavement Care between 2004-2010. I have also trained to be a group therapy facilitator at Cruse.

I am a former committee member of CAPPP - a networking organisation for counsellors and psychotherapists in private practice in the south west.

I work for the NHS as a Group Facilitator / Counsellor on the "Out of the Blue" series of workshops for post natal depression.

I am also a visiting lecturer at Bristol University on the Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling course and City of Bristol College Foundation Degree.

As a Member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force.
